ABA & ESDM program development
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an intensive behavioural program that aims to teach skills to children with autism spectrum disorder in a supported, structured and positive manner. It is an evidence based therapy that has been proven highly effective in assisting with skill acquisition and reducing negative behaviours. An individualised educational program is developed based on an assessment of your child, and regular meetings are scheduled to review goals and progress.
The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is an evidence based and structured play based therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder 5 years and under. Initial assessment and assistance with developing goals is completed by a certified ESDM practitioner, and progress and goals reviewed every 3 months.
Happy Lives Therapeutic Supports offers program development and direction for both ABA and ESDM programs. Direct therapy sessions are completed by parents or therapists engaged by the family.
